Bhutan Flag

National flag of Bhutan is divided bicolor with yellow on the top and orange below, and one of the national symbol of Bhutan, and the white colour dragon represent purity.

Kingdom of Bhutan is a landlocked country in the south Asia, in the Eastern Himalayas between China to the north and India to the south. With the population of over 727,145 and a territory of 38,394 square kilometers (14,824 sq mi). Bhutan is a democratic constitutional monarchy with a King as the head of state and a prime minister as the head of government. The Je Khenpo is the head of the state religion Vajrayana Buddhism.

Men

Gho is Bhutanese attire wear up to knee length and tied with handwoven belt (kera) on the waist. So, man is mandatory to wear Gho in the school, office and in Dzong. Likewise, kabney is a silk scarf worn over the Gho, typically from the left shoulder to the right side of the waist.

Women

Kira is worn by the women in Bhutan, with the tego from outside and wonju from inside and belt called kera at the waist. Kira is worn till the ankle length. It is also mandatory for women to wear, while going to school, office and Dzong. Also, women wear a scarf called Rachu, at the left shoulder.

Bhutan

Bhutan is 70% covered by the forest, where we get fresh air and fresh water to drink. It is surrounded by mountains and hills, and the people there mainly depends on agriculture and livestock. 

Oven

This is the oven made out of mud, stone and cow dung; It is used by Tshangla community to cook. In Tshangla it is also call THAB. Still in the village people used it for cooking purposes.   

This is the structure of house built in the olden days in Bhutan, it is made out of stone,mud and logs. Ofcourse some of the people still use the same style to build in village, but in the town it is totally changed.
